Paxton Pits, Cambs.

Nightingale

A special walk this morning and pastures new for Symphony! We headed out to Paxton Pits in Cambridgeshire in the hope of touching base with an increasingly scarce bird, the Nightingale. We heard at least four but seeing was another matter! Almost giving up, we headed for the car, then, Symphony dragged us along a public track and soon a Nightingale could be heard! Scanning the area, Heather located the bird, quite distant but at last a view! Well done to Symphony and Heather! Checking out a badger door for size!

River Great Ouse

Please can I go swimming!

I'm a good girl!

The outlook

The spot Symphony led us to where a Nightingale was singing, allowing Heather to spot it and get me onto it! Good girls both!
